More than a thousand of you ran at Silverstone

There's something about seeing a thousand people run for the same reason. On Friday 11 September, more than 1,130 of you came to Silverstone for the second ELMS Charity Run — fans out on the track beside drivers and team members — all for the Foundation.

ELMS, who hosted the run with Goodyear's support, reported that day that £24,550.46 had been raised. The run took people out onto the full 5.891 km Grand Prix circuit on the Friday evening of the 4 Hours of Silverstone weekend, and it felt like the whole racing world had turned out together.

Caroline was there to receive the cheque, presented by ACO President Pierre Fillon, Goodyear Racing EMEA's Mathias Kipp and LMEM CEO Frédéric Lequien.

Thank you to ELMS for putting it on, to Goodyear for backing it, and to every single person who laced up and ran. A thousand people giving an evening together — that isn't just a fundraiser, it's a community.
