The sisters running two marathons for their brother

In April 2027, Luca's big sisters, Alicia and Layla, are planning to run two marathons for him — Paris and London, three weeks apart.

Alicia shared their plans in October. Paris comes first, on 4 April, raising money for Association Luca Guintoli — the French charity the family has set up alongside the Foundation here in the UK — so that fundraising goes to the French association, not to us. Then on 25 April they plan to run London for PASIC, the charity that's been there for our family. Alicia's page explains she's running to help PASIC support local families facing childhood cancer, and that fundraising is for PASIC, again separate from the UK Foundation.

It's such a Luca thing to inspire, this. He loved everyone out loud, all the time — it's one of his legacies, Say “I love you” out loud, all the time. — and his sisters running for him is that same love, just with trainers on.
