Got an idea? Jump in.

You really don't need a grand plan to help. A walk with friends, a birthday collection, a challenge you've been putting off — any of it can be a start. The idea can be yours, and so can the way you tell it.

In October, we asked people to set up their own fundraising pages on GiveWheel, with a quick video showing how to get going.

One of Luca's legacies feels right here: Jump in before you can swim. When he was barely two, he'd leap into the water face-first, those big green eyes looking up at you. For a fundraiser, jumping in just means taking that first step before you've got it all figured out.

The GiveWheel setup page already has us picked as the charity — there's room for a title, your story, your event and an optional target. (It will also let a page support more than one charity, so just check who you've chosen before you share it.) And your story doesn't need to be polished. Say what you're doing, why you chose us, and how people can join in — in your own words.

If there's something you've been meaning to try, start your own page here.
